5) Pacific Coast Highway

From the Sunny coast of San Diego all the way up to Washington state you’ll pass through many all American beach towns and an endless list of iconic American sites on the Pacific Coast Highway.

What better activity to do on the fourth of July than chilling on the beach with family, friends, food, and your drink of choice?

4) Yellowstone National Park

What more appropriate place to celebrate America than with the first of many magnificent national parks?

The National Park System is perhaps one of the greatest aspects of our beloved country.

Just south of Yellowstone you’ll find Grand Teton National Park which is equally as beautiful.

3 )Yosemite National Park

Speaking of national parks, you can’t have a list of the best American destinations without mentioning one of the most beautiful parks in the entire world and my favorite place, Yosemite.

Read about our 4th of July at Yosemite adventure from 2016!

2) New York City, New York

New York is known as the melting pot and has become an iconic city that represents exactly what America is about: Diversity and Inclusion.

1) Washington, D.C.

This one is kind of a given if we are being honest. It is America’s capitol, after all. What could be more patriotic than that?

On any given day you’ll find hundreds of star spangled banners waving in the breeze and monuments on almost every street corner.

Washington is the literal heart of the U.S. government and is steeped with history and decades of American culture.

Honorable Mention – New Hampshire

Nothing quite says independence like a state motto of “live free or die.” Open carry? No-problem. Seatbelt for an adult? Optional.

New Hampshire rivals the state of Alaska in the sense of freedom and comes along with endless opportunity for outdoor exploration.

If you still aren’t feeling patriotic, check out these photos for just a little more ‘Merica!
